Telecom NOM certification

Certification of products for which there is no NOM regulation
​

Short range devices, low frequency products, cellular for fixed products non mobile cellular products (GSM, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, 4G, LTE, etc.), NFC, RFID products (among others)

Certification of products which have a NOM regulation

NOM-208 and IFT-008 – includes all spread spectrum products that work on 2.4GHz, 5,725 – 5,850 MHz and 902 – 928 MHz

NOM-196 and IFT-004 - applies to analog telecom equipment such as home phones, modems, routers with POTS interface, FXO interface and any product that connects to PSTN

NOM-218 and IFT-005 – applies to digital telecom equipment such as routers with E1 interface

NOM- 001 for AC adapters, power supplies, A/V products like TV, set top box, projectors, speakers, headsets, headphones, cell phones, etc.

NOM-019 for data processing or IT products such as laptops, mouse, keyboards, switch, router, hub, access point and any computing device that connects to electricity

NOM-032 for TV, flat panel, set top box, printers, multifunction printers, scanners, copy machines, microwave oven, speakers, DVD and Blu-ray players.

Techincal translations
For telecom certification, it is mandatory to submit to IFETEL all information in Spanish. If you do not have user manuals in Spanish we can make the translation of your user manuals.
