New Cerification Procedure

IFETEL made some modifications to the certification procedure that were enforced on

June 27th, 2022. 

We listed the modifications in a document that you can review clicking the botton below.

Can I list the importers on my current certificate?

If you already have a valid certificate or your certification process started before June 27th, you wont be able to add the importers list.

What is a Perito?

A Perito is a telecomunication expert approved by IFETEL (Mexican Federal Communications Institute) that makes the expert opinion required to get the certificate.

Can I add or change the HS codes or Countries on my current certificate?

If you already have a valid certificate or your certification process started before June 27th, you wont be able to add tor change the HS codes or countries.

No more provisional certificates

From now on all IFETEL certificates will have permanent validity since the first application. However, to keep this permanent validity we have to submit another application for the product 21 months afeter issuance of the first certificate.
