MANDATORY COMPLIANCE IN MÉXICO

PRODUCT SAFETY CERTIFICATION

All electrical and electronic products sold in Mexico must demostrate that they function according to existing electrical safety regulations and standards. These regulations are NOM-001-SCFI, NOM-003-SCFI, NOM-0016-SCFI, NOM-019-SCFI.
The Conformance Certificate with NOM is the only legal document accepted in Mexico to demonstrate Mexican NOM compliance at Mexican customs.
The Mexican importer company is the person who has to demonstrate NOM compliance.

RF / TELECOMMUNICATION TYPE APPROVAL (HOMOLOGATION)

In Mexico all the RF and telecommunication equipment that is connected to the publictelecomm networks or use the radio electrical spectrum ougth to be homologated (certificated) according Mexican Regulations (Telecomm NOM's).
